Ouch! My shins and calves are tingling right now..On the treadmill, they were burning and stinging so badly. I had to stop and do the elliptical for two minutes to warm them up more. Thankfully, it worked. My jogging was better this time. I had an average 174 heart rate instead of 185 like the other day. It shows me that I am improving. I'm not where I want to be, but I am on my way.
I *hate* the treadmill, and not only because I'm such a clutz that I'm afraid I'll step on the edge and go flying off the back of it. I just don't like running-- it's too hard on my back and knees. The elliptical is my favorite. I just got one and put it in my home office, and the deal is, I'm (usually) only allowed to watch movies or tv if I'm on the elliptical. It makes the time go by faster when I'm watching a show!
